Mr Louis Loizou, Membership Secretary HBA-UK

Mr. Loizou is Assistant Vice President at Barclays Capital Financial Institutions Group covering Investment banking clients in Greece, Cyprus and Emerging Europe.
Prior to joining Barcap in July 2010, he was with Citi for more than three years, where he executed a number of M&A, Equity and Fixed Income transactions.
Mr. Loizou started his banking career as Assistant Portfolio Manager at Kleinwort Benson, co-managing a multi-asset absolute return fund of US$0.5 billion for high-net-worth clients and charities and prior to this, he worked as an economist at the Her Majesty's Treasury and UK Competition Commission, where he drafted economic reports for Chancellor Gordon Brown
Mr Loizou is an Affiliate Member of the European Business Angel Network and published a study on credit derivatives pricing and small enterprises.
Mr. Loizou holds an MSc in Mathematical Finance (Distinction) from Christ Church College, Oxford, and a BSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from London School of Economics
