Greece’s Economic and Digital Transformation: a conversation with Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis
At a sold-out event co-hosted by the Hellenic Bankers Association (HBA) UK and the Hellenic Observatory, we welcomed Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Greece’s Minister of the Economy and Finance, for an insightful conversation on Greece’s economic trajectory and the next phase of its digital transformation.
The evening opened with remarks by HBA Chairman, Xenofon Zacharoudis, followed by an in-depth discussion with the Minister, moderated by Professor Vassilis Monastiriotis, Director of the Hellenic Observatory.
The occasion carried particular distinction, as it took place just weeks before Minister Pierrakakis’ election as President of the Eurogroup. We are grateful to all who joined us: your questions and engagement made for a thoughtful and substantive exchange. With the event at capacity, we also appreciate the many who expressed interest but were unable to secure a seat.
